At the moment, DH is in the bedroom reading and B or SimpleGuy19 is in the family room reading...What????DH is reading book 4 and B is reading Book 6, and I'm working on book 5. So, I have watched 1, 2 & 3, read 4, working on 5 and read the LAST CHAPTER OF 6:):):):):):)

We will have had 4 weddings in our ward by 9 AUGUST. Unfortunately, one of the girls father died last weekend at age 52 of a massive stroke, so the viewing was tonight (Sunday) and the funeral will be tomorrow. She choice is to still go forward with the wedding as planned. Her folks were divorced and I'm not sure what her relationship was with her father. However, she and fiance are here for the funeral. 2 August there will be a joint shower for her and her best friend who is getting married 9 August.

It is always interesting to be at an LDS funeral. There is saddness with the loved one being gone but there is also the joy of a new grandbaby or new son-in-law and the joy those both bring with them.

The house is very quite and peaceful, it is so nice when everyone is either reading or sleeping. Sometimes it is nice that there are no loud electronic noises or sound effects going on.

We had a SENIOR missionary farewell at sacrament meeting today. It will be fun checking out the type of senior missionary opportunities that are available in about 3 years. I really enjoyed the fact that the closing song was "Called to Serve"..I love the energy that is in the chorus..
